Because noone forces the player to use Ecstatic Frenzy if hed rather have ~200k defense. I use it, because I like going fast.

Its hard for me to recommend Amazon for building around OoA. You only start with +30 OoA at best, have to give up head slot for the pretty bad runeword, along with 4x Um runes, 4.5 mana per 1 energy. The list goes on. If you like the gameplay though try Necromancer. You wont be dissapointed.
