Disclaimer: This is not a starter build, There are many ways to level a barb and i will leave that up to you. I will show you multiple Gearing options and suggestions to push your character to the absolute maximum. If you have a certain playstyle you prefer by all means go for it, I am not suggesting that my way is the only way to make this character.

Barb Warcrying is Loud AF


1.6 Changes - WAR CRY: critical damage per Blood Hatred Base Level is now 8%, down from 10%, to prevent damage cap issues at high gear levels.
This change is a non factor, build still does insane damage. Do not be worried by this change!


General playstyle and what to expect

Warcry barb is what you honestly expect it to be, solid aoe coverage,big defense and most importantly a very solid all around character. There are multiple different setups that can be used depending on your playstyle. Cheap budget variants will still land you doing all content in the game with ease and investing into this character will enable you to do some of the highest rifts and content in the game. Warcry makes solo farming a complete joke, i highly reccomend you join multiple player games for the huge increase in drops and xp!

FCR = Faster cast rate | FPA = Frames per Attack | FHR = Faster Hit recovery
IAS = Increased Attack speed | PMSD = Physical/Magic Spell damage | xp = Expierence
LAEK = Life After each kill | WC = Warcry| MF = Magic Find

Warcry is unique in the fact that it can CRIT, You gain 2% base critical strike chance per base level in wolf companion,10% critical damage per base point in blood hatred and 5% warcry damage per mountain king base level. This is why we smax all three!

Definitely a big farmer with big damage and huge DS damage bonus. Can farm fauzt p7-8 easily with hyper speed.

This is not a joke. Even just rolling war cry by itself takes anywhere between 5 to 30 shrines let alone rolling a good one.

But yeah the gearing for this takes a lot of patience.

Nice job! I kike the unique scaling of Warcry. YOu get massive stats by default and even have enough points to make your Barb quite tanky...
Have you ever tried reducing phys res of mobs especially for boss fights - either via Bane from

another solid idea, that will be great for bosses. I just never tested it myself so i didnt give it a mention in my guide. The damage with spell bind on a boss has got to be insane ha . I will add it to the endgame section+

maxing out immortal doesn't help much in upper labs. I forget which tier, but at some point, if you get hit, it reduces your avoid like a debuff, which pretty much makes immortal totally useless besides the hit recovery

Interesting, This is the type of information i didnt have access to. I will do some testing and see if i can figure out what tier map this is happening in and then adjust my guide accordingly. thx

/e. Turns out its tier 12 riftstone where your avoid is lowered once you get hit, I will add this in. I suppose the best course in t12 + is to dump extra points into ancient blood for more life and the extra skills for damage.
