If you have Iron Golem with Na-Krul's Spine, that should give you the bloodlust instead of Shamanka. Considering you can make Na-Krul and not Shamanka, it's much more SSF friendly.

, I've also noticed that we don't exactly need the set either for the midgame if it doesn't show up. Alternate midgame setup that's a bit more SSF friendly and won't rely on seeing set pieces drop despite how common they are. Sometimes it just doesn't happen. SUs suggested below often are incredibly cheap and easy to trade for on TSW, so consider these too.

General notes:

- Aim for 135/170 pierce. This means mostly sacred craft/blesses in conjunction with xar/thai runes until then, then swap to eerie as you go and can maintain pierce. The swap will happen earlier than one thinks though; between jinn double dip and easy charms you already get 80 free pierce, so you'll need 55/90 from all your gear for farming/bossing, respectively.

    - Wake of Destruction is a lot better once you hit pierce and have some Spell Factor in play,, usually one or two eerie crafts.
    - Megalith has much-desired phys res.
    - Actual crafted/blessed boots have garbage mod pools outside of +2 nec sk. Worth trying to roll for in any argument.

    Jewelry: Standard good caster mod jewelry works here. Bonus points if you get good uniques here. Else you know what to look for.

- Minefield gives 60 pierce, IOTSS and level charm give 10; Jinns provide around 35 pierce, and that double dips as the totems snapshot, so you end up with totems effectively having 140 pierce before even considering other items. The gearout thus requires us to stack as much spell damage as humanly possible instead.
- With this in mind, that means we just want nothing but zod-craft jewels in our gear. Leave those rha runes at home.
- The earliest you can get 3 fireheart totems is 132 factoring in the +max sk charms available at that point. Inadvisable to respec until that point, but can still run dunc if you do.

Ye I'm confused too, how can totem snapshot double dip Jinn pierce aura @OrphineM ?

I thought Jinn aura affects enemy, not actually a buff to yourself?

This was something Pinball told me and I told Orph, but I haven't had time to verify it yet. It gives pierce, so it affects you, which you then snapshot to totems if you have a Jinn out while you summon them. Then probably totems get the aura themselves again.

It's on my todo list to verify that this is indeed the case.

Yes this is how it should work. You get affected by the -enemy resist --> Upon casting your totems, they will gain the effect. Then on top of that, the totems themselves should get the bonus from the aura, too.

Unless of course the Jinns aura was changed so it only affects the player, not the totems anymore.
