Introduction

I have always been a summoner enjoyer and the new summon pally of 2.7 does not disappoint!
Major changes;
    - Synergies of blessed life (phys resist) and elemental wisdom (-enemy fire resist) go to servants of valor
    - Transcendence now gives 25% phys resist and -50% enemy fire resist
    - Fervor now adds up to 160% TOTAL damage added as fire damage. (with top gear I'm at 17k phys 27k fire added)
    - Blood of creation (Paladin) now adds 100% total damage and 100% attack, 100% movespeed to Servants, and they inherit fire pierce from elemental wisdom 2x (60-70% pierce total depending on if you have specialization or not)

Pros/Cons

Pros:
    - Great leveling build, needs next to no gear to get going. I leveled as summons from level 35.
    - Safe (lots of summons)
    - Has high damage scaling ceiling
    - Can do all content in the game except the hardest few bosses
    - Doesn't need blood of creation for low-mid labs & scosglen

Cons:
    - Has periods where damage slows down until next upgrades are acquired
    - The difference between having the Blood of Creation Paladin version or not feels big when doing deep labs
    - Top most gear like I have may be costly or hard to attain though it isn't needed to do up to T9 labs

Leveling / Early Game Gear

It was really simple going vessel of ret / judge up to 35 then swapped to summons.
For gear really anything with + skills, Minion damage / health, and survivability will do.
MO gear to get 75% minion res as early as possible. That's one of the reasons Honorific is so great!

Gear is about the same, we don't need a lot to crush all the content towards endgame. Stats are the same, Skills are about the same too.

Skill changes:
Spark of hope - MAX for 10m duration on buff. its like 90%+ all combat speeds and 60% movespeed. Awesome for you, merc, and army!
Blessed life - As much as you need to 50% phys for you AND your servants of valor. no more than that.
Specialization - MAX (at some point you will want to do this for more pierce on elemental wisdom & base dmg on servants) it is a choice though. Not necessary. I didn't do this until over 130 I believe.

Act1 Ranger I've found to be the best. 42% attack speed + physical dmg % and flat magic dmg from dark power. Also if she dies the army is still buffed for some time. Maiden bow craft with gift of inner fire I like because its full team heal. You can go with more damage if that is your fancy. Gear is simple, anything to help her survive! I will look more into this and update as we go. I didn't minmax her that much because she survives enough even in labs up to T7-8.

Gameplay & Tips and Tricks

    - Summon army & Buff before heading out
    - Buff with Spark of Hope in town (no mana cost)
    - In tough areas, spam your servants at perimeter groups of enemies so they take all hits and clear screen faster (see videos) especially in labs.
    - Relics with summons until you get your bis lineup can be helpful (protector spirit for bloodlust is nice, Blood skeleton is also very nice for 10% crushing blow aura)
    - Some bosses are near impossible with this build like Void book of kalan, just buy the ones you can't do. I did almost every one except Laz book of median, the void, Samael and Deimoss
    - Ice elemental relic for 5% max cold res & a second goetia plate with 6x perfect onyx on swap to overcap max cold res for phoboss was an easy way to crush labs without gimping damage

I played this spec from 35-148, it was a lot of fun and rarely had sticking points where pushing through content became slow. Just keep updating your gear when you can and MO’s and you should be fine! :)
