how to ?

First, my English is basic so I am sorry if I wrote something in wrong way. Second, I don't know how to make an install of Sigma and make other old D2SE mods to work, because every time after Sigma install, all my D2SE mods became useless (don't launch, errors, etc.). It is a method of installing Sigma AND this old mods or they are definitive opposite ???

MXL Sigma is not compatible with D2SE. Have MXL and regular d2 with d2se in separate folders.

This might be a little tricky but I can tell you how I fixed this problem for myself.
First of all I installed sigma using this viewtopic.php?t=22755
Then I wanted to play diablo 2 Eastern sun. I wanted to play this mod NOT through plugy but as a separate install but it didn't work. Plugy didn't work either.
What I did then was simply create a separate "temp" folder in the main diablo 2 directory and cut all diablo 2 files there. After that I could not play sigma or plugy but I could play eastern sun as a separate install (and I did play it. I don't know if this is important but I thought I will mention every step that I did). Then I re-cut all diablo 2 files back in to the main diablo 2 directory and EVERYTHING magically fixed itself. Now I can play Sigma, Easter Sun in a separate install, Eastern Sun through plugy and every other mod in plugy as well.

Yes Istaryu I discovered alone that fact. I did not install Sigma throw D2SE. I have in my comp a D2Lod install with a D2SE install with some old mods. When I launch Sigma installer all is installed perfectly and Sigma runs without any problem, but in that moment all my D2SE installs became useless (errors). So my questions was: I is any versions of installing Sigma without destroy all old D2SE installs? Because now are mutual exclusive or Sigma or D2SE mods. I don't want to install Sigma in D2SE, I want possibility to play bout Sigma and my D2SE mods.

OK THANK YOU very much ..it is not an elegant solution but is a possibility to work. I will try this 8-)

If there be a possibility for D2 to have multiple installs on same comp I think your solution will became more viable.

a mix of bout tempmail and Istaryu advice. First I moved (copied) my old install with D2SE mods in a new dir D2old and I made a shortcut of D2SE exe to desktop (and surprise no need a new install it works), and after that i installed Sigma in D2 original dir and Sigma works like before. So no need 2 install just a copy of D2 with D2SE. Thanks again bout of you

Because the mxl installer most likely modifies your original game. Just install mxl first, and then extract your regular d2 somewhere else and install d2se there.
