Troubleshooting for Median XL: Sigma

Not sure why you want to reinstall it, but do as you wish...

Delete registry keys so you can install the launcher again:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{24CBECD9-C01C-4FE8-8D01-9A9BA928DB1D}
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\9DCEBC42C10C8EF4D810A9B99A82BDD1

i kept getting this problem everytime i try to repair or uninstall it thru the installer

If you delete registry keys control panel entry won't work of course.

But it allows you to run and install the launcher again.

Why do you want to reinstall the launcher at all ?

If you want to reinstall the mod files for some reason just rename mod folder to sth else or delete it, launcher will detect it doesn't exist anymore and do its thing again.

Do you have some issue with the game ?

Thank you for the help, I just fixed this issue by using microsoft install and uninstall uninstall troubleshooter.
btw, I dont have any issue playing the game.

I've noticed When I exit the game it does not close out the attached screen

I am also getting an communication error

What can I do to fix these things?

It doesn't work when you press Esc or Exit Diablo II from that screen ?

Not sure is there an update to the launcher or to the game files, it might be that the launcher is just checking is there anything new.
Regarding that error you can go into the launcher folder and read log file for more information.
Might be error caused by server where manifest is so you can try VPN for example.
If you play MP it wouldn't let you play if you are not on the latest patch if I'm not wrong. If you can run and play MP I would say all good for now.
But have VPN in mind if later you get error with servers, it can help in case mxl needs to be updated.
