[SOLVED] Game won't open anymore

Ok so this is driving me insane...
Till 2 hours ago I was playing absolutely fine, I had to go do some stuff, I turned off my pc, came back a couple hours later and when I try to play, the game won't open. The launcher is working fine, but when I press "PLAY" the launcher minimizes, the blue circle mouse appears for a couple of seconds and then the launcher windows reopens again and nothing happens.
I checked Task Manager to see what it does and basically when I press "PLAY" this processes appear:

And after a few seconds, the diablo 2 process appears:

Then the diablo 2 process closes and nothing happens.
Someone could have an idea on what the heck happened? I was playing absolutely normal since Sigma release, i didn't have a windows update

EDIT: Ok so I've tried uninstalling everything, deleting registry entries, cleaning everything up and installing a fresh version of Diablo 2 LOD without the mod, and It works, the game opens just fine, but when I install Median and try to open, same problem again, so it has to do directly with Median

Restart your PC. If this keeps happening after the reboot, close the Launcher and go into C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\MedianXL\save and there delete the file "preferences.json" then restart the PC without opening the Launcher until the reboot. If you do not have that file in the folder, then delete the whole MedianXL folder in C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming (backup your characters from save folder if you play Single Player) then restart the PC without opening the Launcher until the reboot.

Thank you so, so much! The second option did the work, I deleted "preferences.json" and restarted the PC without opening the launcher and voala (or whatever is said). Thank you!!
