Hello,
Updated to the new patch 2 weeks ago, and have been playing just fine in solo games. Never tried to join a public game till recently. I can't and get the error "Unable to enter game. A Diablo II character cannot join a game created by a Diablo II expansion character".
Never had this before. Patch install went smooth, and I made sure to select "ladder" on toon creation. Heck, I even saw my toon on the ladder briefly last week. Just for giggles I made a new account and that seems to allow me to join games just fine. Is there anything I can do with my original account as I'd rather not start over?

Its because ssf chars cant be in the same game as non ssf chars.

That...doesn't make any sense. I'm playing multiplayer online on the median servers.
