Zerae's is a very unique setup compared to what we use. You can make it work, I'm sure and the full set gives Divine Judgment which you can use for bosses or general play. It's pretty strong without much investment because of how that skill is, but otherwise I passed on it.

The energy synergy on Hammer of Zerae is only for the Lightning Damage portion of the spell, which we don't scale. We scale pure Phys WDM. That's also why dex: Scepter Damage scales off of Dex.
I actually have a question though. War Spirit feels really weak. Like yes, 20% crushing blow sounds nice but afaik it doesn't work on anything where it'd be worth. The only time I can remember it coming handy is tree guardians in Torajan Jungle. Why do we max it?
Dex for %EWD to the scepter as well as gaining more block.
Crushing blow just doesn't work on bosses, otherwise you're taking huge chunks out of mobs when farming and playing through regularly. Plus a bit of extra skill points to use, but mostly because Hammer/mag field both multihit and CB does wonders with those, even with Thundercrack.
