I've got a Question on this Ring of Light oSkill.

I rerolled the Pally Shield around 300 times. But i only get Fortress, Bear Stance or Searing Orb on it.
Are there any restrictions on the Item?

The used Shield is rare, tier6, iLevel83. I also tried with Sacred Rare Shield, but nothing. I also play in SP only, maybe it is Realm only?
How often you need to reroll to get this oSkill???

Pretty sure you need Ilevel 99 for RoL, and yes, it's rare alright. I used d2clicker to speed it up a bit.

I can confirm that it appears in SP. I only play SP, as well. It is frustrating to get, though. But with 300 rerolls....you should've gotten it a few times, at least. Took me awhile to roll mines, but definitely not 300 rolls...

More likely your pally shield's affix level or "alvl" (not to be confused with the item level or "ilvl") is too low.

Do you know how to use the affix level calculator? There's one on this page http://docs.median-xl.com/MXLU_vXVI_Doc_v2.96/grig/prefix_suffix.html. You'll need the quality level as well as the item level, which can be found here: http://docs.median-xl.com/MXLU_vXVI_Doc_v2.96/baseitems.html.

A sacred rare rondache, for instance, with an item level of 83 has a quality level of 80. Punch it into the calc and you get an affix level of 67. Ring of Light's required affix level to appear is 72. The shield's affix level is lower than that, so it'll never appear no matter how many times it's rerolled.

Suggest you to use an A2 dragon egg from destruction - that will ensure Ilevel 99 and your sacred shield should be good to roll RoL.
