Great guide, definitely helped to get me started playing again; quick question. I'm playing a Bowazon build with Curare (yes, I know I should expect this because I didn't choose Paragon :p), but I'm obviously struggling with survivability. I increased vitality and vitality % bonus with MOs but Health Potions are still my best friend. I'm lv 92 so at lv 100 I was looking at switching out my bow (Mage Bane) with Gehenna and body armour (Jitan's Kimon) with Dragonheart... this is my first playthrough so any advice on increasing survivability would be much appreciated. I am studying the documentation religiously but any tips from experienced players would be helpful.

I would venture to say that a large part of your issue is indeed using curare. Either of the other two options would be a better choice over curare on a bowazon, I would recommend trying out Spirit of Vengence since it seems like you want the additional damage of curare, but you'll also gain some survivability. If you're still have issues after SOV, then it might be best to go to Paragon as it really does provide a big life boost. Also magebane is not one of the top bows so your kill speed is most certainly going to suffer as compared to using something like Flowerspring will also help. And I suppose the last thing to mention which I can't judge is your playstyle. Bowazons are glass cannons and are not meant to be hit. Are you properly kiting enemies and luring them into barrages and phalnx? Are you using wyrmshot to hit targets off screen? These things go a long way to keeping you alive as your damage is high enough to keep the enemies from reaching you.

Thanks for the tips. I have already put a skill point into Curare; so I was asking what the best options would be having done this already. I am investigating a different bow now that I'm getting to higher levels. I think respecting from Sun Strike into Wyrmshot could be the answer to killing from a distance. I am kiting to make use of barrage, not using phalanx at all at the moment. I have an amulet with +15 to Lightening Arena which is helping to stall enemies a bit while they get hit with barrage. I have investigated a few options with runeword armour that looks promising so I'm going to spend some time this evening farming to craft items. Thanks for the help, much appreciated!

Thanks for the help guys, I did a respec to paragon and switched out some gear which has drastically improved survivability; ran through ACT 4 and 5 on Terror without any problems. Doing some farming tonight to start spec'ing for Destruction Ubers. Much love to the community, you guys are awesome!
