better than a rare ttad+doom with 4 skills?

If Lucky bonus was applied (+2 skills), then it's a fine substitution. Otherwise, doom ammy is better.

Btw, you shall not bother with getting ttad now, just doom proc and +4-5 skills.

how does 660 phys damage per hit make a big difference compared to the huge amount of phys damage a pouncezon does without doom? :think:

I have never been interested in reading all game files, finding out how the damage is scaled per each level etc. I just clearly remember doing a full Duncraig run 2 patches ago with a pouncezon with doom ammy and without it (the amulet had no +skills bonus) and the results were different as the amulet speeded up the process.

sounds like anedoctal evidence then... I'm guessing that the dex% on botsq alone will add more damage than doom, plus ofc the proc and the laek :shock:

+ skills = more poison and magic damage... even without doom the + skills increases the overall kill speed by a lot giving the fact pounce is 5/4.

This. That's why I mentioned the importance of blessed lucky bonus for BotsQ above. Also, the proc is kinda useless due to the fact you pounce all the time and lure monsters with you.

good point, 5 skills adds a nice amount of damage

I'm wondering, if an enemy gets cursed with banish and then with doom ( which overrides banish ) will the mob regain the hp it lost to banish?

Pretty sure he will, because you can judge it on yourself in Cow Level where you are under the curse most of the time. Most mechanics affects the player and monsters in the same way.

As a pouncezon you get bonus damage from both str and dex and guess what, beads gives both in a decent amount

. LaeK can be nice to have, sure why not. If going for the + skills way rare amulet or dyers eve are best available options. If we are talking about the realm, you can always quit the rare amulet for beads/dyers and try farming/buying a black hand sigil to become an ultimate beast pouncezon
