1) ED -> life leech. %AR MO's are not needed, you gotta craft jewels with %40-50 AR on each (if it has other good modifiers, 35% AR is also fine);
2) I didn't like that way. Shadows are squishy and you lose some time skillswitching which is crucial in Duncraig/Fauztinville, for example. Sure, necrobots/necromorbs will always take less damage, but that's why you have Dragonfire Oil and/or Punisher procs - to finish physical immune monsters :)
3) Yes, exactly.
4) Compared to a random/shitty Doom ammy - yes, compared to a +4-5 skill, Doom+TTAD, flat life/resists (and a lot of MO space) - no.

turns out TTAD only works on direct melee hits, making it a mostly useless modifier

Thanks, Gekko for mentioning, but I still need more people to confirm this since I remember many of them were talking about double damage with doom+ttad combo for any attack.

it would be great if you tested it as well, easiest method is to use a naked barb with smaxed wolf companion and test with stormblast with and without ttad

doom works as intended, but you can't double its effectiveness with TTAD
