Could be interesting as a farmer build, admitting you are using acid fiends and merc to tank most damage while you position yourself to channel hurricane. Not getting put in FHR is key to keep channeling.

For bosses past lvl 120, I don't see how this could work on Astrogha for example. Spirit of Guyua might be easy if you trigger pounces on your position. Then casting 1-2 acid fiends for distraction before moving on.

Makes me want to try building one for the laughs.

i don't plan to use Hurricane on Astrogha and a few others , most probably for such occasions i will be using either RoF or an oskill

Magic missile could work great admitting you can aim it properly.

Vessels would increase your damage output while using Hurricane, but it doesn't bring any single target damage to the table unless you go melee range to an enemy, which is generally a bad idea when playing a caster. It also multihits, which is bad for most bosses past 115.

I'd go with Exorcism for Astrogha or Giyua. I don't think you'll get enough dmg on MM without the extra projectiles from base levels, plus druid doesn't have much pmsd-centric equipment like you have on Amazon, necromancer and paladin.

Exorcism is good against single target ? I never tried it.

You are right about MM. Didn't think about the missile count. I would use Pax Mystica (Normal and Xis enhanced) until I get void charm. Teleporting to position yourself to get maximum efficiency sounds like a must for this build.
This runeword gets outclassed very quickly though.

Okay, I'll give this a try. I'm intrigued now.

druids don't have access to vessels on crafts . vessels spawn on crafted sorceress crystal swords and crafted necromancer shields.

one good combo for stationary damage is with either Ring Of light or Gamma field , as they have decent damage/second around your character. cast one under your feet and then spam Hurricane. good for farming areas , but not that good vs bosses

an amulet with lightning arena oskill would also be nice to have around

, while a paladin can also get it from crafts . the damage from a single source is crap , no matter how hard you try to boost it . not an option imo as you also need to get in melee range to apply the hit , making it a dangerous fight

Johnny Impak wrote:Magic missile could work great
yes, that is an option if you want to stick to physical/magic damage offensive but i'm thinking on using something else , or just stick to RoF . now that RoF was a bit boosted towards single target killing i am not sure if it's necessary to look for something else ,we can just keep it simple :)

well i just got to 115 and i guess that from now on the power of Hurricane will start to fade , so i tried the boots you have mentioned to see how much they might boost the build . Honestly , i'm not impressed . when all stamina is depleted i hit 4100 damage with Wake of destruction on and 4300 with Rabbit foot ... it's not an option for me , i would lose many other benefits for just 200 more damage .

Which is why I mentioned it's better to focus on vitality and defensive stats. My druid (lvl 120) has 41% DR, 13700 life and still has 3700 damage with fully depleted stamina.

Duncraig works, but it's quite slow. I know I could go for it, and I even survive a barrel, but the steam is pretty much gone once you hit lvl 120. You really need some good gear upgrades from that point onwards, which is mainly SU's. Some crafts could be pretty good, too. But whether that build has enough damage to continue after that point... I don't know.

in combo with RoL it's decent vs crowds so far , therefore i won't waste a single point in vitality unless i hit a wall of "squishyness" , which i don't think that will happen any time soon . the merc and the 5 Harvesters are doing their job , and i very rarely take hits in the face

and the 1-pointer RoF works great vs single strong opponents

edit 8.10.2020 : i've just finished the 115 ubers , and the conclusions so far are : the damage of Hurricane needs better scaling . it starts to fade once you reach Destruction no matter how hard you try to boost it , it needs a combo with RoL or Gamma Field just to stay on the same track and keep it as the main attack , which does not seam normal to get from the level 24 skill as that would normaly be the best skill in the tree. i had to put all best in slot gear just to manage and do a few 120 ubers at a normal speed . it's just sad .

the tanking abilities are decent ,even with full energy investment , but the damage/kill speed is just ...meh ..

well . that's about it for now . i hope next patch will fix what doesn't seam right
