.It has higher defense than listed in the documentation though, what's up with that.

Your stuff got 6x higher defense though So it's still better 
These gloves were horrible... 2% magic find and +187 HP is almost nothing Removes res, exp gain, even gold find. Utter trash. If this reanimated Necrobot doesn't have at least 100k HP and 200k dmg (and surely it doesn't), then it's the worst SU i ever found.
