I dont think hand of god is a viable weapon with 40 WSM, even though it is the highest damaging weapon it wont reach a good animation and slow animations are a good way to die in median.

I think the important rolls on a 2h weapon is proc, high max damage and some minor ed (50% allows you to cap with MOs only due to crafts getting twice the effect from MO) but the most important affix is a high max damage roll and then some decent proc of some sort.

Weirds dont guarantee a high max damage roll by any means so you might as well roll with creepys if possible for the free str.

I rolled this weapon earlier today and even though it doesn't have a proc I think it is worth testing, holy lance requires 133% attack speed to reach 8fpa in dragonform which is (very) realistic without overdoing it, 259 for 7fpa sounds like a struggle though (I do have 18 sockets that could theoretically hold 10-15% as Ber jewels) but that is just horrible to roll (and I'll lose %-str on doing it most likely)

which worked fine at 8fpa except for the single target

I think you can use some shimmering crafts too if you want for better plague but generally creepy is your shrine of choice - you can in theory use almost any shrine if you really want to but it wont be optimal because you'll "waste" affixes on the fixed ones from a bad shrine.

Because 1100+ base stats is a very solid power injection (for your initial entry into a room or whatever) and the reanimates aren't half bad but yeah - the lockout is shitty. I also think that VoJ (with the holy passive) is much better than VoR (which gets extra targets) and that is my line of reasoning for smaxing demiurge :p

edit: also how do you do CREATURE OF FLAME when every mob dies in 1 hit because of poison and the sacred shield they give lasts for about 1 second so even with 400 Movespeed%+ you wouldnt be able to run over to it and hit it before you get fucked in the butt by it

Never tried it myself, but apparently you can use book of summoning to get more of those shield guys...

I personally cheesed the encounter with level 1 hydras - probably should have respecced now when I think about it but it worked out ok I guess.

152 max damage is a bit too low for a 2h weapon and tepoz are 20 WSM so you'll need 187% total attack speed for that vaunted 8fpa attack - runewords (properly prepared with superior+lucky with 5 ed MOs) will reach the same damage and have stuff like procs in them. Tepoz is 71.5 average damage base while holy lances are 67 so the tepoz is technically 6% more damage but it requires a significant investment of attack speed in comparison (54% more)

I think it's worth to keep rolling :)

You're still not accounting for skill IAS (raptured Hand of God hits cap easier than your holy lance without skill IAS). It's actually easier to reach the cap than I originally posted as I forgot prebuffing rapture.

Avg damage difference between holy lance and HoG is 55%. Swinging at 8 FPA instead of 7 means you lose 14% total dps. I'm pretty sure ~60% more physical dps with 100% uptime will outperform demiurge especially when we're talking about sustain which is the cornerstone of the build.

It's actually possible to build a HoG holydin with demiurge but you need 2x auhe for
