Mxl 2017 Throwsin Viability

I played around 2012 and had a great throwsin, thinking about resurrecting. Is it still viable? I was thinking about maxing all ways, perfect being, 1 point into maelstrom, and remainder in QoB. Thoughts? Suggestions on gear?

the difference is now storm crow have more missiles and scorpion blade also have more missiles synergies

broadside if different build and i dont think 1-pt maelstrom is enough for crowd killing though.

most build is always viable, question is, can the build farm TA, Fauzt and duncraig without much problems?

QoB is terrible skill be supermaxed though, it is was more for melee build or you just need around 5 or 10 points in it.

So what skill plan would you recommend?

My opinion:

Lvl 1-18, level as something else. Castersin is fastest, you can make nagisin work with some gear and barrier strike
level 18-50 you gonna be using MKV, but aiming the magic dmg is gonna be a pain (in the TA amazons), but still safe. Slow, but safe.
From 50 to act 5 destruction, its gonna be slow boy. And painful <- Specially painful.

So in the end, you gonna need gear and charms. Specially all the charms to make her shine.

What is the best assassin build in 2017? I've heard limpet laser but I don't think I will like that all too much.

level with whatever you can to 120> caster(ll or some other trapsin) to get basic charms once you get basic charms either finish with ll or respec to...> throw/atmg w.e else the ubers you need to finish require. There is no "best build" in Median xl just some specs are better for some ubers than other. Generally to complete all the ubers without fantastic gear you will have to respec a few times.

if your talking farming spec i think claw sin is my favorite that i played last ladder.

as far as throw gear goes i only used throw sin for ubering because its better for some ubers than other so my gear was absolute poo that i used to complete charms so take this with a grain of salt. But if the uber you are doing might be good for throw a basic shitty setup to get started that anyone can afford goes like this

shield: abandoned shield, +1% block and the rest is gravy, +skills is nice as well but dont sacrifice +1% block it makes reaching 75% block ez with bad charms and few sigs eaten.

socket gear with p ameythst til block cap and mo with ias,fhr,fbr etc... til you reach breakpoints. if you roll pierce on items gz for you. Good luck

this gear is far from "good" its just what i used that got me through some of the ubers i preferred doing as throw such as yshari sanctum, uldyssian, triune and some of the void stages. Dont shit on the gear and recommend Su/ssu this is just gear that for the most part is attainable by any player that will get you going easily.

I did finish my Assassin a week ago, and there is no best build for Sin in 2017. If you want a build that is good at farming I recommend you Clawsin.

My Clawsin is able to farm Destruction-Fautz, TA, Cows on /players 8 easily. But if you wish to get charms and do most ubers then I'm sure you will have to switch to other builds.

@iamq1803 what clawsin build do you use? Some details would be nice
