Short Questions Thread

Guys i have a little problem with median. So every time when i kill act boss and im ready to move to the next one i get an error (screenshot below). The problem is annoying because it prevent me to progress (only in sp witch is wierd) and it rollback my char (all items,skills,stats/unspend stat points ect) to the stage before i kill act boss. The problem on mp is it only crash my game but i can still progress to the next act. Any idea how to fix it ?

Yea. I don't use the launcher, but whenever I play -nosound, it fucks with the quest completions that lead to cinematics, since the cinematics can't seem to function without in-game sound (muting computer volume isn't the same).

It only occurs when you're proceeding to a new act after quest completion. Once you complete the act, you can freely swap between.

Yeah, in mp like i said it only crash my game and after i restart it i can freely go to whatever act i was in before and after.
Also i'll try enable all sounds and just use ctrl+m command to disable it in game.

Uncheck "disable all in-game sound" worked. But i have another question. Did Marco delete portal spawn after you kill Andariel ? Because it didnt spawn after i kill her.

To me it sounds like your video files are corrupted. Have you tried re-installing D2 including the video files?

Not that I've noticed. It's always made one for me unless someone completed the quest ahead of my game already.

You could also play windowed with DDraw, it prevents the cinematics from playing.

Last time i played Median XL was almost 2 years ago.
Where can I find the full changelog since then? It seems to me that the game was vastly overhauled.
