No. Immunity pierce and resistance pierce are different things.

lol.. that would be way too OP. having -100% on 3 elemental types would make heroics almost always have at least 1 immunity down.

There's no such thing as immunity pierce. You get elemental pierce through gear or defensive auras & buffs, which can't break immunities. Offensive auras or curses reduce monsters resists and can break immunities but only at 1/5 the strength when breaking an immunity. In MXLU I can think of only few things that can lower and break immunities: Mythal, Phase bomb, and the reanimated flying demon that casts Lower Resist on death.

This is incorrect. The 1/5 penalty was hardcoded into vanilla resistance debuffing skills, but is not a part of median. Here what you see is what you get.
