Livestreaming modding

I'll be streaming me re-learning/learning how to mod Diablo II. I'll mostly be working and filling around missiles.txt today, since I was able to scrap around the old and dead links of phrozen keep and managed to finally find the srvfunction lists.

maybe you should try out mapmaking, there's not a lot of fun stuff to do with missiles unless you already have much experience with missile chains

Err, can anyone provide me with a zip of all of 1.13's mpqs? I've somehow managed to corrupt all of mine and I don't have the CD to reinstall it. Going to a previous game.exe patch doesent work for the patch installer either

a zip with all mpqs is probably 2 gb big so I doubt anyone will make a "zip" out of that

Why to reinstall, as I know you can just copy .mpq files from .iso files, if you have them of course.

I have a busted cd drive and no spare copies of the mpqs. Thank goodness blizzard offers a digital download with your cd key.

Wow, they do? Do you happen to have a link? I never thought about this, my 15 year old CDs still work, but it's only a matter of time before they bust, and it's a bit of a pain to handle 4 CDs every time I want to install D2 anyway :lol:

Next time just backup game folder and that is it, no need for registry keys since they are mostly created when you start a game, but if you want you need few seconds to backup them too.
