a rune word item and a oil of renewal reroll item,
lol u cant downgrade item base or regular level req, u can upgrade the item 1st w/ UMO or MO then use sigil

Sigil only works when you have already mystic orbed the item. You can't bring the item below its base lvl requirement with it.

I can confirm this. A while back I tried to use a sigil of absolution on my fresh new Collector shield and it wouldn't work. Finally figured out I had to add at least one UMO first in order for it work. Or you could use at least 2 regular mystic orbs first. In other words you need to have added at least 5 levels required to the item before you can have the sigil of absolution bring it back down 5 levels.

Does Critical Strike/Deadly Strike increase flat ele damage on weapon at all? What are the crucial stats on ele weapon builds? I know about flat dmg and pierce, but is there anything else? I'm talking strictly about damage.

No. It works with elemental damage only if the skill you use converts your physical damage to elemental, like stormblast for example.

For those that have played Trinity Beam paladin's this last season, and used some of the Henchman Trophies set items on your build I'm curious what you used for UMOs or effigies on your henchman items?
