I personally prefer to get honorific for resistances boost as soon as possible. Usually before a2 starts for being able to tank some strong ele attacks/spells (Pests' fire fountain, Ice clans' shatter the flash, shredders' frozen orb, etc.)

PS: In last patch i'm getting it right on a2 starts because of there you can sell items for up to 10k gold while in a1 hatred limit is only 2k

In which situation does Stormeye totem come in handy ? (Tried using it to kill boss but damage output is kinda low and obviously it is not better as Fireheart in crowded areas)

imo storm eye was good for maps with long hallways (like parts of TA) where all the blasts are limited to go in a specific direction - can be very effective. Use cold totem to kill bosses.. it absolutely destroys them.

Totemancer is pretty simple. Fireheart/Stormeye (fireheart is main and stormeye is for fire immunes, so summon them 40/40) for crowds and Frostclaw is for single targets (left 20%). I'm using 2 fireheart, 2 stormeye and 1 frostclaw after getting benefit from class charm +1 max totem (set/SU equips is an another story).
PS: For non-cold-immune bosses i'm just preparing and replace all totems with frostclaw

If you make honorific res gear then it's 15x All Resist and 8x of each resist. This allows you to hit the cap of 155% resistance (technically this comes out to 156% but again 155% is the cap), if you cube more than 8 of each resist you won't gain any additional resist beyond 155% but it will continue to add +2 level. From there you can throw in the +max resist gems to add an addititional +2 max res/+20 res per gem, and this doesn't count against the 155% resist cap on gear.

How well do Edyrem tank the Dark Edyrem from Judgement Day? Wondering if I should bother with them or just spam some other minion like Ice Elementals.

1 Edyrem usually dies in 1 second. But their advantage is that Edyrem are stationary minions (they do not move because dark edyrem are untargetable). If you're doing CFM upgrade, don't even bother with ice elementals or any other minions. Use either Edyrem or daystars.

Why Daystars? It is for the CFM upgrade and ever since XV when he added that shield it's been a pita.

I mean Daystars and Edyrem are stationary minions. Using ice elementals for upgrade is a bad idea, since they always try to be near you, which forces monsters attack you as well. I'm surprised how can you even choose between edyrem and ice elementals :)

Because Ice Elementals have enough health, armor, etc that they don't die in one hit. Also when you cast them right on top of the the Dark Edyrem they stay over there and don't leash the enemies to you. Which is helpful once the avatars get summoned as Ice Elementals/Blade Spirits often live long enough for you to use Flamestrike to nuke down the avatar. Main issue again is that shield as all 30-40 of your minions can end up dying before that shield drops and thanks to Tremor I have no lasting health.
