When I have a skill that appears to be a continuous stream without any sight of individual projectiles, like a laser, and with a ND of 0 does it only hit the enemy only once every frame? I heard that skills can proc multiple times per frame but only because they have multiple projectiles.

You use the uptier recipe and not the improved uptier recipe for uniques...
Uptier Recipe (improved for uniques)
This recipe is an improved version of the generic uptier recipe. Not only is the item upgraded to the next higher tier, but the modifiers are replaced with those of the higher tier version of the unique. This is the preferred way to uptier uniques.
Unique non-sacred weapon/armor + Arcane Crystal + rune → reroll as next higher tier

On striking/on kill
I play sp (no internet) , I just sat down to play and found that every last one of my charms are GONE...vanished into thin air! Along with the only sacred gothic armor I've ever found playing this for a year or two (sots). Can anyone say what caused this?? I do not want this to happen again.
