how do people do the void uberquest in sp? it seems just insane and thats even with cheesing it with recovering your corpse in mp. do a lot of people even complete this uber ever?
so far i need to do pride and envy and both are just giving me insane trouble especially the pride maze.

So how are you /supposed/ to beat level challenge 2? I beat it through a combination of cheese and luck by kiting talrasha far enough away from the mages that the buff didn't apply to him (I still killed maybe 10 or so. There's some walls just outside the valley for them to get stuck on, and kiting them out in groups of no more than 3 wasn't TOO difficult), then surrounded him with hoplites to agro him and get him in melee mode as I stood just far enough behind him that my vessel of retribution was hitting him. To say I died dozens of times would be an understatement. Thankfully my waypoint for the lost city was right next my snake valley so I could keep going relatively quickly after dying again and again and again.
The problem with doing it legitimately is that everybody has a move where they shoot out this really fast-moving fire-golem. This one-shots you (and pretty much all the other spells chunk really heavy even when you get hit by just one, let alone 3 at the same time from different mages). Yeah, you move at 300 mph, but honestly that just makes it harder to control your own movements. And of course the fact that all my resists were maxed is completely irrelevant since they ignore 250 of your resistances

So if I'm understanding your correctly, you're stuck on tal Rasha? It's pretty easy even without stacking resists or absorb. You just basically run around randomly and avoid tal Rasha. It's really easy with rapture from the paladin, which you should have.
kill each support Mage one at a time. Avoid the big packs and never stop moving. Their ai is pretty shit so you can literally walk up and walk away and watch as they scatter like billiard balls. Kill each of his minions one at a time and it should be easy.
Maybe you'll die a few times, but it's not hard to exploit their ai and pick em off one by one.

You can mitigate the damage by stacking resistances. Honorifics and perfects gems work fine.
I'm not stuck, I just did it with what I thought was cheese but apparently is how you're supposed to do it, which is kinda stupid imo. If they're all together, it doesn't matter how fast you're moving (I have 15 hard points in rapture but as baal you're retardedly fast anyway), they're all going to spam their skills and sooner or later one of them's going to get a lucky shot in, assuming the huge aoe ones don't chunk you first. I had to kite them out of the valley of snakes entirely so they could get caught on the walls of the ruins in the lost city; and then I didn't even kill all of them, I just got talrasha himself far enough away from the mages that they weren't in range to make him invincible
