there's no need to ban players, but I agree with making charms only usable by the character that got em

That's actually a very nice idea, but, imo, otherwise then trading charms, people will trade private games aka first you pay me TG/sk1, then you get an access to my game where you will wait in town while I'll be killing X boss for you so you can pick it up from the ground. No one get banned in that case.

How about: you pay me TG, I'll invite you to my game where boss has 5% health and you'll deal the final blow. As in real life big game hunters where pathfinders and local folk do most of the dirty work for you. Of course you'll need to have a stable char and be prepared for it. In that case you'll still get the joy from killing X boss.

That ban idea was a joke :)

In the end must of us will agree that current system where handfull of players flood almost whole realm with charms is trash, how to make it better and deal with it is actually hard to tell and most important thing what is our MODders opinion about this matter.

Remove charms - problem fixed.

Then after OP gears become new object of value - remove them too.

Leave white items only.

That will show them.

explain:

- how this won't make the game considerably harder for intermediate players and how it won't make the game nearly impossible for begginers

- how will you keep 50%+ of the playerbase from quitting the mod

- how will you prevent allies from weakening boss till you can get killing blow and make the mod reward cheesers even more


I agree current system might not be perfect but I don't see how this isn't even worse.

Sigil of the 7 Deadly Sins Quest Ring can only be used once. Make scrolls drop 1/2 chance or boss spawn like Pride.

Can only be used once seems a bit too impossible for as hard as the quest already is, especially for beginners-intermediate.

What if you die and cant corpse recover? You have to farm a whole new ring?

Maybe charges on the ring for the boss summoning skill? Like 20 charges but not repairable? It would increase the value of charm higher than it already is

If you think taking away charm trading would make people play more of the content then you misunderstand the mentality of players who would rather buy the charms than quest for them.
