Problem with Multyplayer

Dear Fellas ,

I am really new here and also in the server.I am addicted to it and very excited to play it.Although i have a little problem .At home at my pc i have installed Diablo after that Median Patch after that added server ip to BNgateway Editor and all went well, I can play with no problem in multypayer.
I have copied that folder and paste it to my laptop to play multy when i am on vacation on my laptop . I run the game from laptop everything seems perfect on single player but if i log in median server i get Enchaced Access Vioaltion 00005 .So i cant play the awsome multyplayer from my laptop.Can you please help me if you ca and advise me .

Use the registry file from here https://tsw.vn.cz/how-to-join/ If it doesn't work, just delete and do a proper install on the laptop, i think it's a registry issue.

I have done that ... it is the same .No problem with Single Play and after tring to log in TSW2 UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: ACCESSS VIOLATION (c0000005)I have try it with new instalation too .. same s..t .I just logged trough TEAMview and there is no problem logging in with my PC but still fail with LAptop .

when exactly does that error happen?

what D2 version do you have? (open Patch.txt in you D2 folder to see)
what median xl ultimative version do you have? (make a new character and hover over the median statue in your inventory to see)

My version : Patch 1.13c

I am pretty sure that there is something wrong in my Laptop files .... I copy and paste the working folder d2 from my pc and paste it to my aptop.Single player is ok multy crashes with the error .

Generally speaking, you can't copy a program folder from a pc to another. That's because some application settings necessary for the program to work are saved in the registry.

Try installing D2 on the laptop and let us know how it goes. Installing, not copying the folder from another pc.

you didn't say what your median xl version is... make a new character, mouse over the statue in your inventory and see if it says MXL Ultimative XVc

you also didn't say when exactly does it crash... when you make the game? in lobby? when you attack something?

it's probably because of the wrong mxlu version. if you don't have XVc version, click the "Download" button in the menu at the top of the page and download it.

I have that problem when i hit multiplayer . It crashes . From the menu at the ,main screen when you choose single player or multiplayer

He doesn't need to. He says he can join fine on his main computer.

He said it crashes the moment he hits the Multiplayer button.

Like others have said. Do a clean install on your laptop, as it is most likely a registry error. You can't copy and paste Diablo 2 from your computer to your laptop like that. It causes errors.
