That's not actually mod bug but d2 core one/online code. Gevs already made some changes to reduce this happening to minimum: reduced range of arrowside, reduced range of far-hit skills... still it' s a thing. Mostly happening if you run forward, cast some skill and then backward too frequently. It causes ama defenders die out of sight and arrowside procs invisibru. (same things with invis dunc barrels). The best way to avoid is run forward - never run back
Tldr: your char too far from proc/cast at the moment so the visuals not exist.


Interesting - I've only been playing offline SP and it seems to happen when I'm pretty close (talking like a quarter screen width) so it must be a pretty short range death proc lol

Played as Seer and found that i want movement speed aura from harvesters but don't need poison spd (and for sure don't wanna waste 11 skill points)... So i have an idea to separate skill into 2:
First will give an aura that gives movement speed and increase Radius per base level (10 MS+10 per blvl and 10+2 yards with max level 5)
Second is an upgrade to aura that adds poison SPD based on Minion res (40 base +20 per blvl with max lvl 5)
PS: Possibly make an aura require at least 12 skills in Harvesters (basically maxing their synergy) to not make it too accessible for every build

I've just updated and I've noticed that the necromancer's melee skill Blight Descent doesn't seem to apply after Angel of Death jump if the character doesn't have a point in Reaper. The buff icon doesn't appear and the poison pierce doesn't apply according to extended LCS.
This is a bit of a bummer for a build centered around pestilence. It used to have too little damage to progress after level 100 with TU gear, but now that the damage is decent enough for easy dungeons, the 5 skill point drain required to activate the buff that would give extra poison pierce (4 points in Parasite and 1 point in Reaper) hinders the build quite a lot.

my friend was running IED clawsin while i was javazon. somehow i got his anathema Buff wich locked out all my skills. No idea how this is possible but it happend

Ok so I encountered an issue and discussed it with some people in the discord:

When you have an item giving a class specific skill, Ex
Hide of the Basilisk on a sorceress gives a cap of +3 to Thunderstone

If you also have a Thunderstone relic which also caps at +3, you only get a total of +3 to Thunderstone rather than +6. Basically it caps to +3 total rather than per source. I still get all the other benefits of the relic and armor but not the full skill boost.

Not a bug but feedback here.

Bone chime scaling.... I have a bonechime that gives 30% of dmg vs undead/demons as EWD and another that gives 6% of dmg vs undead and demons as MF.... seems the MF one should have better scaling than the EWD one? Or they should be closer? The disparity makes one essentially useless and the other the sole option. Would love to see better scaling on them.

Overall scaling is retarded IMO. Based on stat that is very unusual to gather And you sacrifice alot more for it. And 6% of it with cap of 150%... cmoon. So you need like 2000% damage to undead/demons to cap it. Lamest charm of all existed and it cupy 2 slots.

Sorry if i pointing you to thing that you know and tryed already.

To apply the trophy for a small bonus, kill the the Dark Star Dragon within 30 seconds of entering the quest and cube the trophy with the charm.
This loc realy bugget for me also. ping 40+ makes this realy hard to go through. In SP it's great.
Try to use teleport by cooldown. That can help to awoid ping problem.



granted ping is an issue, we have tried numerous different ways and have been under 30 seconds by far many times. its just bugged at this point i have no fix other the devs looking into the issue. the discord community has been trying to help me for 2 days to fix it. would really appreciate a work around or another barb to just come do it and id pay them for their time if need be


Not sure if it helps but If youre doing it with another player the Trophy/challenge buff (Little yellow circle icon on the buff bar) only applies to the first person to enter the portal IIRC. When you kill the dragon itll apply a second little yellow circle to the buff bar so you know you have the required buffs for the trophy.

Took me a few runs with my buddy to realize what was going on.

I've been compiling some feedback as I play, here's a dump of what I have so far:

Item containers:
- would be good if we could craft containers for consumables (e.g. full rejuvs, apples, belladonnas)
- increased container capacity (99 or 999 would be a big improvement


Innate class abilities:
- assassin's ability should be usable with a ranged weapon (currently requires a melee swing to activate)
- most durations should be increased (most are currently just an upkeep annoyance and I end up not using them ever)
- would be great if these had interactions with other abilities / talents
- would also be great if these scaled somehow (even if it's just an increased duration)


Barbarian:
- upheaval just seems kind of... useless? thunder slam has a 12s CD so extra damage isn't useful whatsoever for the points
- half the trees can't really utilize any point investments - would be good to redistribute the "required" nomad investment in player builds


Druid:
- Earth Talons should be usable as a primary attack (currently only allowed on right click)
- Egg Trap buff duration is too low - also currently too cumbersome and not really worth using as an ability otherwise
- Raid mana cost is SUPER high (especially compared to other class attacks)
- BUG: survival instincts does not appear to add any damage - tried increasing STR + DEX in owlbear form and it didn't change Raid or Earth Talons damage
