I am wondering, will you change the "map edges"? In d2 everything was too straight. I think many zones would benefit from a more "natural" feel. Looking at the first act, just went you leave the base, I never liked just how everything was made of lines. It's like some god tried to make the world into geometrical shapes...

That's just me though, I think they did this for technical reasons. However (visually) the more fluid zones where better.

no, because that would require a visual artist to do in a reasonable amount of time. also, the time invested in that could be spent on something actually useful (there's already so many things to do).

Also keep in mind that areas are still randomly generated and it's far easier to work with 90 degree angles in random generation
