some screens have it in their settings (press the menu button on the screen and search around), some graphics card settings have it (for example, nvidia).
I have the "NVIDIA Control Panel" in the windows control panel, or when I right click the desktop. then go to Display --> Adjust Desktop size and position --> Scaling tab --> Choose the "Aspect ratio" radio button. that's the one you probably want. you can play around with the other ones as well, there's a nice description under everything.
if the game still doesn't follow the "keep aspect ratio" settings, check the "Override the scaling mode set by games and programs".

Thanks, I had hoped that there would be a more standardized way. Well I guess one could always play windowed with mouse capture enabled
I just got that Diablo itch again and i was wondering is sigma releasing any time soon or should i just load up MXLU XVI?
Or maybe i should switch it up and try a new mods? Only ever tried eastern sun but i didn't like it, not sure what else is good hmm.

Load up XVI and play. Test builds on SP or join TSW to have fun with other players. No need to wait for Sigma without trying Ultimative 
Last time i played MXL was maybe 2 years ago so i am familar with it so something new might be more enjoyable but if Sigma isn't releasing anything soon then that is what i will do.

From my understanding, Sigma will release first as an Alpha to a select group for balance issues. Then a Beta will release with more testers to nail bugs out. Finally will be first official release. Alpha is not even complete yet, so don't expect to see a working version of Sigma for quite sometime now.
