Marbles wrote:Hey guys. Recently installed XVI. i Believe 7d was my last version. Absolutely wonderful. I got a question as well.

Looking through the changelogs, i see the last update is the DuDu's Hunting Banshee has a '1 ND." If i am looking at this correctly does this means that there is 1-frame between damages, so that the skill hits only... like 12 times a seconds now? Or is this incorrect. I got a thing for this skill and just wanna know how it operates.

TY

Sorry to break it to you, but hunting banshee has been nerfed to trash tier.

Yeah, i feared this. Is it because of the 1 ND specifically? Based on what i read if my interpretation of the ND is right,.. which i have no idea lol. Then Banshee is like 1/5 effective as it was before ND. Which is quite dramatic.

Alright, so to morph the question, is there ever a point Banshee is good? Like with extra missiles and 30 hard points, eFactor, %dmg, -res%, skillpoints. Does it still blow? It does seem lackluster at such a low level. Takes 25 Banshees to do what one Plague avatar does at this level anyways, lol.

If it is so bad, it needs to be reworked or replaced. Such a cool skill to just be a filler, IMO.

Do -x% enemy resists apply only to attacks done by the player equipped with the mods?

For example:
If a pc has a weapon with -50% enemy fire resist, and the pc's merc has an ammy with -50% fire resist, does each character's -50% only apply to their respective attacks, or do the resistance penalties combine (similar to the merc/pc MF bonus) so enemies effectively have -100% fire resist?

I'm guessing it's the former, since the latter seems a bit op, but I just wanted to know for sure.

My question is can a SP player and a MP player trade items on the trade page?

Not sure about -enemy res, but if you have 50% mf, merc has 50% mf, the total is 100% only if merc lands the killing blow.

I think Druod cold skills still blows. Of course anything can be powerful with enough dedication but you have much easier time with Elementals and/or RoF.
Banshee is unpredictable (and you can't cheese with it anymore) and with that other skill you must stay in place which is bad.

Freezing Gale isn't TERRIBLE, but it's not great. At least its not like abyss where only the edge hits, however if you have it on right click and namelock a monster, he will keep moving tiny bits if the monster moves to basically auto-spellcast so it always hits. I was able to do QT fairly well with it.

Other than that, it's mainly just a fire/poison immunity damage dealer or a neat little option for a caster barb with some ... SSU? Hammerhead axes I think.
