I Am An OLD Median Player! Help?

Hi there, I'm Paul! OK let alone not knowing Median has even gone this far baffles me because this is so LAST minute after browsing Diablo lll Forums and seeing a Median Topic but, I have played Median for YEARS but it's only been Median V 1.0 Literally the very first patch that Median started on from BrotherLaz's work. My Patch.d2 is 29.8 MB's (before XL), and the Newest Median is now OVER 350 MB's and now there is an even BIGGER update that I was even unaware of! I had no idea this mod was even being continued on! This is super overwhelming me!

I would like to just know what am I going to expect with such a HUGE jump from the very start to 8+ Years later!

My favorite class to play was always Unholy Paladins, I always liked to summon my Scourges and buff them all with Superbeast and Shadowform.
His main Abilities were Mindflay, Starburst, Divine Apparition, and Slayer.
My favorite Uber was always in act 3, Spidercave, Kurast 3000 BA

Also, if anyone at all is interested on V1.0(Medians beginning) I can upload it for you!

It'll almost be a new game. Some of the ubers are the same but all classes have several new skills you aren't used to, there's tons of newer ubers and new items. It'll be great!! I suggest waiting for Median xl 2017 to drop in 2 days time and jump on realm: The community is huge and has plenty of helpful people.

Well, I've never connected to a Diablo 2 server before I could use some help with that although surely there's a guide here somewhere. Also, I use to play this mod with TC/IP with a friend YEARS ago so knowing there's online servers excites me! What is this mod like with 9 people Oh my! :O

The difficulty of the mod is increased a lot, but the gameplay is improved a lot as well. You will like it, but it will probably take time to adjust to all the new things and the difficulty.

How do you buff scourges with superbeast?

That's a feature on V1.0, You can buff them with Superbeast and Shadowform making them almost invincible and immune to all sources instead of Magic and Poison. I have no idea what Median is like now. I'm about 28 versions behind. Not even in the XL series.

all you need to do is go here viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4150 download launcher, install d2 and lod, then install the launcher
and the rest should all be done for you
