Haha I love those ball monsters. Downloading this mod. Also you're playing with full screen? I have a problem with window-mode. I can't see the health/mana and belt potions. Tried auto hide taskbar but there are some option from skills still be hidden.

And what if we make wrong build and want to try another skills? I checked PlugY from D2SE but can't reset stats/points.

I play window mode all the time and no problems so far. Maybe you need to change desktop resolutions ?

For restating - Npc (merchant) sells scrolls at Misc section - restat skills and/or stat points. You cannot reset passives from fame so be carefull.

Tried change desktop resolutions but it's not better than the old. Sadly I'll just play with full-screen. Enjoying this mod

Those are Beholders, one of the most iconic monsters in the Dungeons & Dragons universe. The graphic comes from either Baldur's gate I or II. If you like classic P&P (pen and paper) RPGs you should play them, they're a couple of the greatest games of all time. Man I miss playing Baldur's gate.

If I remember correctly this mod has a 1024x768 resolution by default. If your screen's resolution is 768 in the vertical direction, the game window (with borders) won't fit vertically, so the bottom part will get cut out.

There is 2 resolution, right.

1024X768 and 1280Xsth as I know....did you tried that other resolution.

I have heard about Baldur's gate a lot but never played it. I think I will try later

I've tried all my laptop resolution and they are just bigger in length: 1366 x 768, 1360 x 768, 1280 x 768... Currently I'm playing with the screen like this:

Not much comfortable but still playable. Playing a poisonmancer with poison nova is main skill atm :mrgreen:

It's finally running under XP! But.... some tomes and NPCs become unclickable (for example- first tome near town with stats explaination). And there's still glitch that some quest objects may not appear and you will be forced to change map (i've spent already 4 maps but still can't find Cain on plain of sorrows X_X)

Cain might be hiding in burned down house or even in some bushes. He is sneaky bastard :mrgreen:

I think i'll just skip this quest and hope he will appear in act 2 as usual XD
PS: Is his cage displayed on automap in this mod?.
