You need to upgrade your gear. Your stats aren't up to par if you are dying that's much outside of Uber's. you need to gear for destruction and transition into TA/k3ba. I assume you have the BRC done and all your Uber skills. The mod has various walls you hut that you need to farm/ craft gear to break through. Most builds are viable for the early Uber's

tchahin wrote:The game is clearly not balanced and biased toward some specs.

BTW, if you wanna play properly you have to be a godly player to win all the challenges without 'donating' for the trophies/relics.

Unfortunately, if you are like me, who likes to melee without any minions/summons/reanimates/hirelings/converts the game is broken.

It's not possible to sustain your character in high end game.

You can only play end game if you fill your screen with reanimates, summons, hireling and use very high damage to kill the monsters before they kill you.
Tanking does not exist in destruction.

You have to be a character that burps arrows, farts grenades and lasers out of your A** - which makes all end game characters look like clowns with 0 cohesion or theme - but viable.

Take the holy paladin for example : you have magic damage, fire damage, cold damage, poison, physical and can still shapeshift and summon!

While I agree that some specs are not correctly balanced and have a harder time to survive, most of what you say is bs.

You don't have to be a godly player. You just have to have experience with the ubers. (read guides or try them out in hatred)

You don't have to rely on summons. You just have to farm to get good gear to make yourself able to survive.

You can easily get lots of armor and DR.

It sounds like you're just a bit frustrated because whatever you're playing as isn't fully prepared for tanking and clear speed to its maximum.

do tell how to retaliate through fauzt in terror im stuck and i need to retaliate 200 times to kill mobs but i also have to use solar flare every 7 seconds to i die in a sec
what's the amazing tiered unique gear im missing out on in order for destruction bosses to not take 5 minutes of running in and out of portals to take down for them to simply drop me more shitty gear that I could've found in hatred difficulty
are there some sekrit o-skills i should be looking for on shrine crafts for very specific gear slots?

tried out cherub
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dq0988c ... e=youtu.be
its nothing like retaliate in my opinion and here's why i think or why i get the feeling as to the defensive capabilities of the ability maybe im not using it like it's supposed to be used and i dont see how it should be used if there is some secret strat to making it perform with the "same mechanic as retaliate". thing about retaliate is that even if you miss the enemy, the rings perform poison damage and will push everything away from you stunning everything while cherub will meme you into paying 50k gold for respawning.
so if i can't use cherub in tcows why would i be able to use it in Fauzt or anywhere else cause i doubt tcows is the most hectic dangerous place in the game.

You can hold rmb on the ground for automatic attacks and still skillswitch between flare/retaliate/DA whatever to save your hand.

As for cherub, it's a trash skill with slowest nd projectiles in the game (unless something has been left out in the patch notes).

Maybe you should post your gear/skillplan/statscreen?

From my experience the two biggest mid-game steps (short of luck finding good items) for holy melee have always been getting 500 sigs and grinding an auhe rune for
Nero
. It's also an excellent sig runner since you have 3s teleport + retaliate knockback vs. rust curse and can have excellent crowd control with hand of god
Calypso
which is the best untwinked weapon for this build. The other contender would be a crafted hand of god.

about points! I had to put all of mine into strength because everything costs 2much to wear and the only sockets i use if i can are the +max res pgems
here's some stats now in fresh webm format https://puu.sh/wcVFS/2494ce7041.webm
where should attribute points be specced into
cant do step 4 of black road because fauzt owns me because physical immunes and poison doesn't want to be good and the only good poison runewords were weapons so i couldnt buff it. all the amulets i find with +1/3 skills dont have any poison on top sadface things used to be so much simpler you could just roll em 50 times and youd have what you wanted and then you'd gris luck the shit out of it and repeat x10
what is this sigrunning strat for holypalas?

+ crafted Nih runed pally shield depending on your merc choice/gearing.

2.) leave retaliate at 1p and put those points into solar flare or colosseum (both good against necrobots, although I don't remember if colosseum actually drops the PI of necrobots), with solar flare you want to DA on top of them and then cast flare. Retaliate gets boosted by soft points and this patch dropped the WDM of retaliate so the extra magic damage is actually halved, plus you don't even have 500 sigs and thus lose the majority of the bonus damage. You want to boost dragonheart with hardpoints +skills to 1000 tcd and stop there.

3.) you lack all charms, you should do the basic ones.

Cold Resist +25%
is way better than your current armor. If you want more physical damage you'd craft a creepy armor with innate +20% str +bless and fill with ko runes or crafted jewels, but this is better after eating sigs.

5.) it's not a good idea to focus on tcd because you get tons from dragonheart, you should rather focus on raising base defense and get FHR to 5 at least.

6.) by using 1h weapon vs. hand of god you're basically saying no to 80% deadly strike or something (which in the case with hand of god + deadly strike is like quadruple damage = 4x life leech), which is very much no, the only 1hander I would use is

When you get
Calypso
, MO first with ed and after making the runeword deadly strike. If you don't have enough sustain, you might have to MO ed + life leech, but preferably you'd rather get LL jewels instead. Oh and I forgot double MO has been removed, so crafts are probably gonna beat calypso.
