1. QT always has a good amount of phys dmg on his beam, full res is not enough for him, even if u MO all of ur jewelries with -6 dr MO which results in -90 flat dr, if u dont have any other source it wont be enough. However with about 140 flat dr, in total QT wont be able to drop ur hp bar, that is if u already have the absorbs from Jday charm so that his ele dmg wont hurt u either ofc. u can get the rest of needed amount from some armor pieces. And ofc u know about his bone nova which kills u instantly. The new QT was made so that its harder for us to tank him, but rather we should try to take the map there into our advantages to hide from him and dmg him.

2. U mean u have a class charm from 1.0 then u upgraded ur game to 1.1? It does seem that + max skill from lvl challenge 2 was removed, however +max skill from minigames still stays there. I have a char from 1.0, did all minigames and challenge except bremtown so it should be +5 max skills, but now it has +4.

3. Maybe ur wolves hit that mob 1st and applied their doom curse, maybe ur CB is high enough, or maybe that mob is just weak so ur rainbow dmg x 25 can kill it easily.

question about emo here: why cant i insert the emo in my quick reply? If I click the icon it brings me to another tab and I cant get back unless I click the back arrow which would erase the emo I select, the 'close window' button doesnt work.

lvl challenge 2 doesnt give +1 max, it gives 5% minion hp and 1% defense per rune (for barb). That was removed from my charm D: its very possible I'm being autistic and I just forgot to do it but I'm the kind of guy that spreadsheet his charms to know what's next, so that seems unlikely.

also back to quov tsin, does he have any resist pierce whatsoever?

I dont remember what the old lvl challenge 2 gives, my charm still has 5% summon hp and 1% def per rune.

A3 Mercs have at least 2600 energy and 850 energy factor.

The second part of the formula is + the lower of the 2 things (max 200) so it's (260*(2610))/(250+2600)=238 and ((2600*850)/15000)=147 so 238+147=385. Add some energy factor and that number barely changes but add 5% more energy and it rises by 8%.

+50 energy factor is +9% spell damage. 5% energy = 8% spell damage. 50% energy = 59% more spell damage. Now comes the interesting part how many +energy gems/runes are better than flat spell damage runes/jewels? *Remember this calculation ignores all other gear you could as well have some energy factor on some pieces or some other energy here and there, you could min max it for every gear this should just be a general guideline*

35% energy = 56% (That's 3510 Energy (still about 8% per rune!) This is the point where 850 energy factor (factors in at the second half of the calculation) always leads to +200% so more energy factor won't change anything!

40% energy = 58. 50%=59 250%=Max 65% or overall 450% spell damage from energy factor

So 7 perfect topaz or Um runes as sockets in armor all give you 8% more spell damage while good jewels give 4 or 5% and runes 3%.

On the other hand to get 52% more spell damage you would need +305 Energy Factor (After that you don't get more spell damage from EF). Not worth it, getting energy is much easier!

And you can bet your ass that my guide that tells you to use the Bloodmage merc tells you exactly this - 7 PTopazes or how many you need to get 35% to Energy.

I can attest to this as well, but I think my issue is moreso with ND rather than monster avoid. Perhaps that's what's causing it for you? Or they really do have avoid. I've never heard of them having any, but who knows.
