it does have effect, but A3 mercs already have energy factor high enough (~850 on lvl 120) so they benefit much more from %energy - ideally +35% (see viewtopic.php?p=146801#p146801 for more)

You may refer to this formula in this page. I believe it's the second half, just replace Energy with Strength.

I'm trying to do a farming build around Pixie legion's Scorpion blade.

Q) Obviously MKV affects the number of knives thrown by the ctc, and I believe spending points on Scorpion blade skill (assassin) doesnt improve the damage of the lvl 48 ctc, am I correct, or spending points on it also improves the damage?

It's extremely rare.

Every time when any cycle drops, the chance that it would be the golden cycle is 1/4200. So the odds are absurdly high and it's not worth your time unless you're a completionist.

Btw, The big cow (i forget the name) have no cycles drop bias right ? i kill him like 20 times and he never drop me a cycle
