Make gift box with more items so that you don't need to farm it 40 times until you get what you want.

This makes no sense. You can get items fast enough as it is, even you can get the things you need faster from other places.

it's meant to be a boost not "equip perfectly your char with tu1 items" which is a pretty bad practice since you can use low level runewords to wreck hatred entirely, and requires no grind.

tu1? Marco pls! You know everyone grinds the tu2 items and then a couple of crystals and you have your t5-6 weapon and armor for hatred.

There are tons of ways to start the early. Farming boxes, farming crystals, going for runewords, going naked (NecroNotOP), going with anything you might find in your way. Still, I agree. Most of us go for boxes+crystals.

The only one thing I would like to add as a ''Feedback'' for the mod would be:
''Is there a real transition for Median?''

For the sake of this example, lets suppose that you are a new player that havent played D2:LOD in like 5-10 years. You find yourself surrounded by information (docs are pretty extensive and those who are lazy wont read it even if they made a 10 step-guide about it, we all know that.) Then you start a new char, and nothing tells you what/where/how to do it(here, most of the people just go through median like D2 and fail.) But we know who's to blame, ourselves cause we didnt read the docs. With that in mind, we quit cause ''Too hard, better go play D3, im a pro there''.
That kept me thinking, is there really nothing to do to solve this problem? Changing the game progression its not an option just cause people are too lazy to read, right?

[blue]I should stop drinking juice and thinking at the same time.[/blue]

I personally would like to see it nerfed heavily, imho it's a boost too great that renders 80% of dropped equip useless... and encourage to overlook the wonderful runeword mechanic. just my opinion

There are tons of ways for improvement :
1.Players don't like to be one shotted by stuff. Kiting is for the weak!
2. Negative returns shoud not exist as a concept so some skills can be even more OP.
3. All runes should be for sale
4. Monsters should not be immune to elemental, magic and physical damage, except for couple (just for the flavour)
5. Loot should be improved without the need of investing in Better Chance of Getting Magic Items
6. Charms should drop at hatred too :D

That's improvement? I was hoping it was [blue]sarcasm[/blue].

If you want players to stop quitting, this is the way.
