What's a build that has a more or less easy time farming t11-13 rifts that doesn't require tons of UMOs or very, very specific extremely rare gear?

I believe caster/bow druids have pretty easy time there, well druids generally. But I have not much exp with that class in labs so don't take my word on it, just saying what I'm hearing.

I wish. Seriously. PlugY was just the best and removing it was a major step back for Median.

Anyway, I've been leveling a sword barbarian through late Nightmare, and since the guide I'm using is obsolete, I've been wondering what gloves and boots I should be aiming for in the late game. Baron Sludge's Bonecrusher was removed, presumably for being too awesome, so what should I be aiming for instead? Furthermore, how helpful is the Shamanic Trance skill to a melee barb, and should I be investing more than one point into it?

For gloves I would aim for Facebreaker or Blind Anger, boots Akarat's Trek or Knight's Grace.

Why in the hell should you invest in Shamanic Trance? Barb already has scarce skill points.

They don't NEED those items, I've done most of the ubers just fine without. But as I said, no lab experience with druids so can't say if you really NEED those items to succeed but I doubt it as in their current condition they are OP as fuck.

Good to know. I invested in ST because the guide I'm using told me to. The guide is obsolete, so I don't know how useful it is. Would you say that ST is a one-pointer, or should I spec out of it completely? Also, should I invest in stances, or are those best left as one-pointers? I mostly use Bear for resistance.

Out of curiosity: what guide are you following? Sounds like way pre-Sigma.

You don't need ST with a melee-barb at all, just ignore it. You really should invest to stances, as you are using swords Bear/Wolf are perfect, depending if you want more defence or dmg/speed.

The guide is the one by Tkorpi, as it is the only one I could find regarding sword barbs. He doesn't seem to have posted in like a year, though. I tried reading the TLDR 2Hander Axe guide, but it didn't seem that useful to me.

I guess I needed to respec anyway. I even managed to find a Belladonna Extract.

Yeah that is pretty outdated but still kinda viable. Remember you also have three free respecs from Akarat each difficulty.

There are so many ways to build a barb in this mod that it's hard to come up with a skill-plan. BUT, Iron Spiral multi-hits like crazy so I would smax wolves, then Spirit Guide as you are always around them. Then rest to Daedalus, Runemaster, your choice of stance etc.

Caster Druid doesnt really need the Searing Heat, if u just do labs. In labs, RAIN OF FIRE is just as good as, or even better than Ember Spirit with the Searing Heat(Ofc u need using HARVESTERS in labs). I know there is a showcase doing t14/t15 where Ember Spirit was used most of the time with the searing heat. But, RAIN OF FIRE with harvsters can do the same too. The core gear for caster druid doing labs is not the searing heat, its a high rolled Natasha's Legacy. And in that showcase, max rolled Empyrean Glory with lots of the endless light UMOs is another key for caster druid. High rolled Natasha's Legacy and lots of the endless light UMOs, together make caster druid expensive to be that good in t13+ labs, not the searing heat. Spirit Walker is definitely BIS if u can get one, but not a must.
However, if u are farming Dunc or Fauzt, Ember Spirit with the Searing Heat is sure better.
