I'm probably wrong, but I remember whist talking about the possibility of unique mana mechanics. I don't know if that idea has been abandoned, refused by Marco or simply put on hold, but I seem to remember the intention was there.

I like the idea of animated life/mana orbs but I don't like the idea of using D3 interface assets for Sigma. Think about the people who now play D3 and then Sigma when it comes out. They will have a very strong feeling of de ja vu.

@suchbalance & food, I would like to implement individual resource mechanics for every class at some point, and as a matter of fact, a lot of code for it is done already. But doing this also means changes to the items affix pool, changes to skills, etc. That's a concept that would be quite some work to implement and requires a lot of planning, and that being said, in the initial release it will stay a graphical change only.

This will likely come in a future expansion after the initial release. There will be the initial release, and after that, say every ladder resets (every 6-7 months or so?), one big core feature will be implemented. Be it the pvp features, the resource mechanics, and some other stuff that I want to implement but takes too much time for just one feature. This also has the advantage to bring up some new interest on every ladder reset.

And that's why themes were implemented. No matter what I do, there's no way everybody will be happy about the GUI. User themes will fix that.

New classes, clearly not. The amount of code to be replaced in order to have it work properly is enormous. Not to mention that means making a brand set of skills, new items, etc. That also means we need a new character graphic, which we don't have and is far from being easy to create.

As for new acts, well there is a way to load a different set of txt files for every difficulty, which could possibly allow us to "emulate" a 15 act story. But for now that isn't in the plans. I think implementing this wouldn't work on realm as well, so...

Wonderful! at this rate looks like Sigma will be out before MXL 2016 :P. Btw being MXLU and Sigma different projects, once the latter is completed, will be there servers for both versions to play online?

Great job, looking really nice. BTW i really dont know why but that part of the gui (the one in red circle) is so annoying. Covers too much space and doesnt look good. No hate, just sharing my thoughts! :)

EDIT: Will we have new colored skill icons?

Is it just me or do the icons have a different level of brightness? Like even the black borders are lighter on some icons. I feel like that's not the case in median.

Also, great work! I hope the skill tree gfx look enough like Zartok's. It's kind of hard to see the similarities and differences without seeing it in-game.
