Melee Sorceress [1.3]
Do we have a group consensus on best eles for a elemental based build. Starhawk, Lachdanan, Trangouls breath/lacunis, flying saucer/stormflyer. Now that I’m looking at it. I think fire is out the window due to the buff affecting physical. I’m thinking poison/lightning and running both duration buffs...the poison buff gives energy and the lightning buff has synergy with energy and dex. Layers pretty nicely. You would get life, complete avoidance, and a big chunk of phys resist. I think I’m going to try it...only question is in regards to our single target fusillade. Does it still perform well with elemental flat damage and pen?
Yell out to me on Discord, Ive got a spare Sacred Warp Blade (low ilvl) for runes if you want it.
Also seems like some dungeons/rifts changed a bit, Judgement Day it's pretty simple to just dodge around the edyrens and burst down the bosses (Also you have 60secs now).
There are so many points to Spiral Dance gained from the set and other items... but it seems like a garbage skill to me...

I'm a first time player for Median, and would like to start out with your Guide! What should be my first few keysteps for beginning? How much point should I invest in spells to get started, and what weapons/runeword(in which weapon) should I get since the Warped Blade cant be found from Tristam anymore? Also do you have any other tips and tricks for starting in Sigma?

Update to using the 115 gearset. Switched back to fire/poison and was able to do Kabraxis. The extra damage and life was necessary. Still took 20 minutes. With the Kabraxis charm,

, and putting pgems in every slot, was still below 90% res and taking a lot of damage from Quov Tsin. But peeking out from behind the statues to fusillade and spamming moon symbols was able to down him. Also took like 20 minutes. Duncraig is a lot easier to farm as fire/poison though. Make 2x Empyrean Band. After that, it's all theoretical. But if you have all the 120 Ubers done, probably grind Dunc for XP and SUs, and Triune for XP and Cycles for the Charm.

Sacred Warp Blade is one of the rarest item types in the game. I've only found 3 in a week. They all dropped in the Torajan Jungles, fwiw.

Skillplan in the guide is still the same (for now). You don't need to invest more than 1 point in spells. Just use Flamefront/Immersion until clvl 6. Then buy a Sorc Orb from Akara and melee with that using Wraithsword until you can gamble for a Warp Blade at clvl 17. Then, make Shark (Tal RW) in your gambled Warp Blade and use that until you've farmed Mephisto for enough ACs to make TU Warp Blade. I've been posting updated gearsets in the comments so you may want to go back a few pages and take a look. Sigma discussion starts on page 67, I think.

Regarding Teganze, you'll just have to Fusillade, dodge, and let Blade Spirits soak damage for you until you've cleared out enough Umbaru to melee. It's a pain b/c you can't leech off Umbaru (but LoA still works). Also try to get your CtB up (you can block Umbaru Spirits' missiles). Not sure the Teganze Charm is even worth it though if it consumes Essences.

Wheel of Fortune (T4 Large Shield) - used for Kabraxis and Quov Tsin
MOs:
Weapon = 5x ED, 5x IAS, 5x EWD, 5x DS, 2x LL.
Sacred Honorifics = TCD, DEX, Weapon Damage, Life regen.
Witchhunter's = DEX
TU Shield = DEX, Weapon Damage, Life regen, then STR if needed.
Socket fillers:
Weapon = P-Rainbow Stones
Non-RW armor = Enough P-Res gems to hit 80% Max Res, then P-Amethysts. Add more res gems as-needed for Ubers.
RWs = Enough IAS/HR jewels to hit the 5 fpa IAS BP and 6 fpa HR BP. Then, Ber-crafted +2% DEX jewels.
It's not a great setup. ACD is only 120k, but CtB is 61%. Did J-Day, Dunc, and Triune fairly easily. Tried Teganze just to see. It was slow, but doable. Will try the rest probably this evening or tomorrow evening.

Tried Kabraxis. Can be done with above gearset and enough player skill, but generally you won't do enough sustained damage to kill him before he heals to full (which, iirc, all enemies do after 20 minues).

Tweaked the above gearset a little. Managed to do the 120 Ubers with it. Fucking Christ it was painful.

You need a white item yes. But you can use an "Oil of Renewal" purchased from a vendor in town. Put both in the cube and transmute. It will reroll the item as white. Try and get some Enhanced Damage and some sockets on it. You can keep using oils to reroll the weapon.

2) Transmute with Oil of Luck -> If you get +20% ED, great, if not, repeat 1-2 until you do.

4) Socket 5 jewels + Rune
Though this can take a while and a bit of gold to get right.
