The cap is 100 movement points. On the elves final mission you get the 60% boots. Also you get the save your character at the end of Elves saga.

One thing that's kind of annoying about the Elf campaign is that the story is a total snooze fest. I'm only 4 missions in but so far it seems written by a 12 year old for a homework project he half arsed in between call of duty matches.

Well to be honest the Elves are poorly designed, yet very OP.

I'm just going to answer the question in the OP.

I'm playing a lot of Path of Exile. I have a couple friends that play so it's good fun, and it's free so that helps. I've also been playing Tales of Zestiria on PC- so glad they're starting to port some of those JRPGs onto the PC now! It's a good time to be a PC player, what with Disgaea, Tales, Final Fantasy, HDN, and more making their way to PC. Of course there are more games I play, but these take up the bulk of my gaming time!

Not yet, I just finished mission 6 yesterday and it was by far the hardest thing since I started the game lol.

So it's the one where you have to capture 3 cities on this small island-y map. The way I played it I went past them at first because I figured, if the neutrals are holding them I can just lvl up and the comp won't be able to take them then I'll just come back to them when I'm finished. So I keep exploring and find the comp's capital clear his heroes and there is some defender of faith quest objective party. So I kill it and then I've cleared all the interesting parties on the map. Then I go back and start capturing the cities and this is when the shit hit the fan.

Basically exactly two days after a city is captured some stupid trigger goes off and 3 FULL parties of lvl3 units (paladins, imperial assassins, inquisitors, healers etc.) spawn and move within attack range of the said city. And these quest towns are quite far apart - one of them is 4 full turns away from the other two who are 3 days of travel apart. So because the scripted constantly spawning parties are so strong there was no way to hold those shitty towns even at max tier with only lvl 1 units, my main didn't have time to run around and there were basically no neutral parties left on the map for xp.

So what I had to do was leave all my high level units in the capital, then buy two griffins and an archer and just grind XP from the stupid perma respawn parties until they levelled up to skylords. Then I left them in a hero near the capital and did this AGAIN. After which those parties in tier 5 towns with some debuffs on the attacking parties finally managed to hold the bloody cities. Mission took something like 150 days...

I'm almost 99% sure that the map scripts bugged out since I killed the merchant leader dude first and those guys are not meant to spawn infinitely... And I could not clear the capital to break the AI chain because there were no armor consumables in the entire level

Lol party summons are soooooooo random :). Sometimes it summons just one, sometimes 3 at the same time, and sometimes they dont spawn for 7-10 days, sometimes they spawn every 2-3 days :D. The goal here is to level up some creatures, have some final town upgrade and leave the creatures with another character to guard the city. This is one of the 3 hard missions I was talking about earlier, and definitely more annoying than hard.

Elves campaign finished, now time for the xpac.

Flawless victory capital clear  No buffs used apart from 1x 15% armor potion:

For 99% of the final mission my party consisted of 2 marauders and an archon so I kind of regretted picking up leadership all together. Decided to recruit big bird over there at the very end since the other geezers were in pretty severe diminishing returns on their lvl up stat increases.

Final battle:

Gryphon is a waste of space :). I'd rather take 2 healers or 1 healer + another caster.

Well with this party comp (warrior leader + double x2 shot archers + 1 flex slot in the back for archon or another marauder) there is no need for any front line at all - they are just a waste of xp.

The reason is that my back line can clear all the AoE casters & archers of the enemy before they even get to their turn. Hero tanks all their melee (70 armor without any buffs) and regens his hp to full next turn (natural healing + warrior lord).

I just decided to take more units because I was pissed I wasted 2 perks on leadership  Anyway skylord isn't that horrible - 250 base dmg and 50 initiative is decent, and like I mentioned before healers are useless with my comp.
