You can compete against others to earn points by completing milestones:
- Being the first to kill any dungeon boss
- Having the most kills of any dungeon boss
- Being the one that farmed any rift the most
- Speedrunning (1 to 100, 100 to 120)
- Reaching 150 first
All rewards can be obtained in both SC and HC separately, and are available for all classes. Therefore, for every single milestone, the score will be available 14 times. Playing non-meta, including HC, will be a rewarding strategy when trying to earn score as there will be less competition to reach the top ranks.
Since we put a lot of effort into this system, we want it to be accessible for everyone, and we understand not everyone wants to compete, especially against some of these crazy players. Therefore, we decided to also add Personal Milestones. In these you are only competing against yourself!
The same milestones as PVP are available, and you can do them at your leisure. This score will also count towards the global Ascension Ladder. And if you play multiple classes through the season, this will be reflected in a higher Score! And, it's a pretty cool tracking system as well.
There will be an Ascension Ladder on every season from now on, and the score earned in these will add up for a new lifetime Ascension Ladder, so in a few years from now, we'll be able to see the most dedicated and best players and have a place where they are recognized.
We'll also look to integrate various rewards systems that are linked to score. These could range from in-game cosmetics & rewards, Discord/Forum roles and badges to TG rewards through realm events. This is only the beginning, so stay tuned!
