This pretty much just enables hybrid caster/melee playstyle, right? The skill still has a significant weapon restriction so "ranged WDM" would still not really be possible.

Do corpses from Necro's Voodoo Practice skill spawn reanimates?

Do batstrike familiars benefit from Shadow Dancer or Laserblade passives? Since they are weapon based.

So what is considered the merc with the best survivability now? If you wanted to go pure tank, no damage. Is it still shape shifter? Or do a3 mercs do better b/c warp armor? Thanks!
