My question is: what affixes affect the damage of those missiles (which are the lion's share of your DPS, not the initial hit) and which don't? Is it known? I assume flat damage or %dama...

Well, melee necros flounder a bit with tanky mobs in general, regardless of immunity. They're definitely more geared toward clearing rooms.
