Re: Screenshot Modding Thread

Progress after 9001 layers. Decent result so far.

Edit: Should probably clarify that the cartoony aesthetic is intentional. :P

Re: MXL: Sigma Announced

Regarding dunc wall fading, I agree that it would be nice to have them fade, but as I mentioned before, there is a possibility this doesn't happen. It's more likely that I re-arrange the map to prevent walls from being an annoyance (kind of like how I made passages in Tran wider to prevent getting ...

Re: MXL: Sigma Announced

i can render in d2's isometric perspective now How do you do this? If I had to guess, I'd say find out d2's camera angle and distance, model stuff in 3d (e.g. blender), and then take pictures inside the 3d modeling program, with the correct angle and at the correct 8 directions, using some kind of ...

Re: MXL: Sigma Announced

This makes me want to look into creating transition tilesets. Rather than the desert immediately cutting off to the act 3 tileset, the 2 different tilesets would overlap, making a more smooth transition. Of course, that's really insignificant detail and there's much more to worry about right now. J...

Re: MXL: Sigma Announced

Pretty cool. Sorry I hadn't had time to really work on icons much. I'm glad more laz icons are being used though. Some of these icons (all of them are mine) are so bad it hurts. At the same time it's crazy to think that I was maybe 14 years old when I made most of them. I make icons at random times ...

Re: Screenshot Modding Thread

This might help: 1. In photoshop, make a new image with 500x500 dimensions (doesn't have to be that much, just big enough to fit every frame within it). 2. Fill the layer with a color. 3. Open each frame from your animation and place them wherever within the canvas you made manually using the move t...

Wereowl 16 Direction Morph

Hey everyone, I wanted to show and discuss a new morph I've been working on as well as show the finished product. This is just one of the many other morphs (and boss) animations I will be releasing eventually. Controlling characters with 8 directions can feel very clunky. Not only that, but there ar...
