I do a self-wipe in SP every now and then, especially when a bigger patch comes out so my vote goes for yes of course.
Who voted no? Let's hunt them down with torches and pitchforks and beat their PlugY stashes.

Wait, we all already know that Sigma is way different from normal soft modding that medianXL used.
Additionally we also know that not all stuff from medianXL will be port over to Sigma.
Im surprised there are still people complaining about full wipe.
There is already "soft-wipe" now on realm with ladder system.
And I usually tried to play from scratch with personal self wipe.
Only potential problem from not wiping is bugged item (which solved with "bad character data" in the past)
At this moment, I just want something to do / test in early sigma phase and stop playing it once it reached grinding stage.

im not a veteran in mp nor sp, i never killed laz uldy nor any of the high end game bosses, damn it not even valthek, but i remember that every new season caused to wipe,so we're back in the old times. for me it was like Hell yeah do It !!

it's known fact that sigma comes with a wipe/fresh start included , no matter if we like it or not , for both SP and MP .
if we are talking hypothetically , then yes , a patch that brings heavy changes to the mod/gameplay/ubers/characters should always come with a wipe .
for minor changes every now and then i see no reason for wiping .

1) people can still keep playing their old SP characters on an older patch with d2se
2) since sigma is going to come with a full wipe anyway, I figure having another wipe sooner won't make much of a difference anyway
