Pretty sure people have noticed this, but I'll throw it out there anyway: following search results, which are urls containing the hilit
parameter, makes item preview not work when the item name contains the highlighted search results.
While I don't really know what your website code looks like, I can see that item preview html gets rendered in the backend, so I don't suppose you really have to rely on the item element content (that gets mangled by span
s used for highlighting) for searching for the item data, and if you do absolutely have to rely on already rendered html it should be easy to use a custom attribute instead of the div content (e.g. <div class="item" item-name="Azurewrath">...
).
Pretty sure this is probably not on top of anyone's priority list but manually altering search result urls does get old pretty quick...
