Yes.

where can I get gold for honorifics? I am only level 42 but the normal drops I sell are not worth much

1. Pick up every single apple, amulet and ring from the moment you start the game on.
2. Sell apples in act 5.
3. You should have around 200 k now just by selling apples.

to get the cube reagent for honorifics, use the 1st wp in act 5, go south east and kill the enemy that you have to kill to complete Q1

Where is the best place to get uniques for crystals when just starting out?

Act Bosses, and if you DIDN'T turn in the Horadric Malus, you can salvage it ad infinitum, just that and Andariel alone will yield two crystals after five runs; sometimes only four if you get lucky with unique drops.

Where exactly is the veteran monster Bane Hunter? everyone says world stone keep 1-3 but mine only gets to 1-2 and then goes to another sub level called something different.

Is it in the room where Baal summons waves of monsters or before that?

I always found them in the room where the way point is or one below (Halls of Anguish?), not above but they should spawn there too!
