D2se first read the core folder and then replace the files with the files from the mod folder you are starting. So putting it in the Mods folder is enough (if there is no certain file, its because they didn't done any changes to it, no replace needed).

Since the d2Client.dll is loaded in the server list, you can't use it on realm until marco replace it on the server (if i'm not wrong).

alright, I hve changed D2Client inside MODS/Median XL and nothing changed and I was ale to connect to TsW.

Of course you are able to connect to the server, doesn't mean its working on Server since some files are only loaded by the server. Try using it in sp instead.

Afaik, cant get it to work on realm bcz no way of injecting these dlls on it unless u use some illegal stuff, it sorta works on sp.

This completely works easily and correctly on Realm. Shadows are removed, and its a solid 60 fps in destruction cows 5p with all kinds of crazyness, no sprite limit, nothing. It's fantastic. I use it now. I keep my sound on, play full screened, and use Glide.

This is also partly just a bump cause I know this can help many many people that didn't know about it since it was in the depths of the forums.
