What Duncraig player 8 character would u recommend?

I would like a character that can farm players 8 duncaig without much difficulties. What would that be?

Although farming Dunc on pl8 is somehow inefficient (you could do twice more runs on pl1 which takes the same time) but nevertheless...both xbow (1 point Angel of Death on switch to avoid barrels if needed) and melee Necromancers are good for this purpose. Slow, granted by Talon's Hold works very effective. Pouncezon is good too but requires really high damage/life leech to survive.

Trap Rat is a good farmer too. A little slow after you teleport unlike Melee Necro who can just AOD and leap a large group as long as he isn't hit locked.

As said above, Melee Necro is awesome if you are just starting to farm some gear, he gets everything necessary from the skills alone.

But you pretty much need end-game gear to efficiently run dunc on /p8. At /p1 you can easily get Slains Souls to hit recovery, but /p8 needs some serious dmg and/or certain skills to avoid them swarming you.
Naginata assassin with 2 sec Blink and Barrier Strike owns the place.

I am currently doing it with a treewarden druid, works really well, but i use sky siege to get away right after teleporting, so not a very cheap build

someone should make a mini on the melee necro, I would try it, but never even attempted any necro before lol. but if it kinda relates to a pounce zon I think I could make it work. might give it a go anyway

If you google Median XL-U Melee Necro I'm sure you'll get info from the other forum. There were a lot of discussions about him. Alson check out romanN1 and his awesome showcase which has a sweet melee necro: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=297
