Keep running but not to far because he will jump at you. Avoid the skillshots. Sometimes he will jump and cast AoE punisher, run away then blink to the place he casted punisher so you don't need to run like a madman. You need to keep moving all fight unless you wanna die.

I understand this. But what's the goal here? Do you fight him or?

I'm not sure what kind of abilities are available to a trap rat build, but as a barb I don't fight Kabraxis directly. I just run circles around Kabraxis and cast fortress, letting fortress do all the work. I just focus on staying alive. If you have any kind of castable aoe that you can fire and forget I would give it a try even if it is not directly part of your build.

My build is far from optimized at the moment. I can still improve my crafted jewels and crafted items. Also need to find some end game SU's. Haven't had any trouble with ubers / bosses or farming K3K + Torajan Jungles...Tran Athulua can be challenging, but keep moving and you should be fine.



wasting a lot of points in talon's hold. Just put it to 25% slow. Gehenna weapon is really bad for melee necro. picking up poison and cold stats on a physical/magic/fire char is bad contradiction. Go for a craft with high phys damage instead. That will allow you to leech better and still carry damage with Dragonfire. Xorine Rings also pretty useless. Go for rares with fire pierce and leech if possible, unseelie curse too.

Would suggest 7pt carnage, 20-25% leech on Famine (however many points that takes) since gear will cover more, no need to max it. Max Death Ward not death lord. Deathlord should be your leftovers. Ward gives avoid and a much larger bonus to defense, where death lord increases base defense. They combo well, but lord not superior to ward. Graveyard is a 1pt skill to buff and forget. damage will be minimal especially without spell damage/pierce. Would still suggest getting some in parasite for general aoe and slow application across big groups, then can switch to carnage for clear if parasite is still too slow.

I assume you're making a melee dagger nec guide so I won't bother bringing mine to sigma updates. Best of luck

Just use one quill storm at a time in a circle around him about 1/2 screen - 3/4 screen away (enough to dodge balefires as he shoots them but close enough for quills to target).

He heals when he kills anything, so don't die (easier said than done I know), don't use summons, etc. Punishers you likely won't be able to out-resist. Just use a potion to remove the poison when it hits you. There's no lockout on this uber so you can go to town and refill potions and take a break if needed (don't leave him alone for more than 5 minutes or else his AI heals to full). Just be cautious re-entering since he will probably pounce you immediately. Take the fight to the open space below/left of the pentagram if possible. Plenty of movement there.

My build is far from optimized at the moment. I can still improve my crafted jewels and crafted items. Also need to find some end game SU's. Haven't had any trouble with ubers / bosses or farming K3K + Torajan Jungles...Tran Athulua can be challenging, but keep moving and you should be fine.



wasting a lot of points in talon's hold. Just put it to 25% slow. Gehenna weapon is really bad for melee necro. picking up poison and cold stats on a physical/magic/fire char is bad contradiction. Go for a craft with high phys damage instead. That will allow you to leech better and still carry damage with Dragonfire. Xorine Rings also pretty useless. Go for rares with fire pierce and leech if possible, unseelie curse too.

Would suggest 7pt carnage, 20-25% leech on Famine (however many points that takes) since gear will cover more, no need to max it. Max Death Ward not death lord. Deathlord should be your leftovers. Ward gives avoid and a much larger bonus to defense, where death lord increases base defense. They combo well, but lord not superior to ward. Graveyard is a 1pt skill to buff and forget. damage will be minimal especially without spell damage/pierce. Would still suggest getting some in parasite for general aoe and slow application across big groups, then can switch to carnage for clear if parasite is still too slow.

Thanks for the tips and advice, much appreciated. I've actually shifted the build closer to what you've suggested. Still a lot of refining to do but it's getting there. It may be a while still before I do a guide as I want to get through all content with the exception of Samael (I know my limits :p) before compiling a guide. Maybe a collaborative effort on a guide could be good; feel like you have a lot more experience than I do in the finer mechanics of the game. There's no lockout on this uber so you can go to town and refill potions and take a break if needed (don't leave him alone for more than 5 minutes or else his AI heals to full). Just be cautious re-entering since he will probably pounce you immediately. Take the fight to the open space below/left of the pentagram if possible. Plenty of movement there.

That's an interesting theory. Apparently, you haven't tried nor seen it. Quill range is about 4 times shorter than the range of his face melting beam. Also, we don't have the run speed that we used to. You should probably go try it before suggesting things you know nothing about. If there was a way to kill this guy with a rat, I've tried it. Also, he doesn't shoot Balefire (that's the skill that spams fireballs in a ring around your location) what he uses is a lightning, fire & ice beam. Imagine when the Ghostbusters cross streams. It's that, only more painful.
